(August 6, 2012 Shelbyville, Tennessee) – The Foundation for the Advancement and Support of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse (FAST) President Mike Inman has announced his resignation effective August 3, 2012. Inman was recently selected to succeed Dr. Doyle Meadows as the Chief Executive Officer of the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration.

Inman was instrumental in the formation of FAST and has served as its president since its inception. “Mike will truly be missed and his passion and energy will be hard to replace. We all wish him the best of luck in his new role and know he will do a great job,” said FAST Treasurer Kathy Zeis.

FAST Vice President Bruce Vaughn will serve as interim President of FAST until a permanent replacement for Inman is found. “We appreciate Mike’s service and look forward to continuing the missions and goals of FAST,” said Vaughn.

“I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all the board members and supporters of FAST. Although I am saddened to resign this post I am excited and committed to the opportunity to promote the premier event and greatest horse of the entire equine industry,” said Inman.
